Stuart Crawford Special Speaker on The Whatcom Report

Sunday, June 5 didn’t start off like most normal Sundays. No, this day was special. Just the previous day, I was contacted by Drew Graham to be on his weekly morning radio show. Not one to give in to nervous reactions due to the short timeframe, I said sure – piece of cake, right?

The topic was one that was dear to my hear anyhow. I mean, how often has everyone heard of me speak on Social Media 101. I was honored to speak with Drew on topics like why a small business should use social media and Social Media 101, the Business Edition.

The time went quickly once the show came on. Drew was a great moderator, and I enjoyed it.

The Whatcom Report is a joint effort between Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry and KGMI. Listeners often get the chance to hear Drew as he is Development Director at the Chamber. Listeners all over Whatcom County get to listen in each Sunday to guest commentaries on the latest business issues that confront the County. The guests are comprised of local business leaders in Whatcom County and the surrounding area, as well as the lower BC area in Canada.

KGMI (790 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a news/talk and information format that services Bellingham, Washington. Owned by Saga Broadcasting, the station sends out its signal through the air waves to surrounding Northwest Washington and on into Vancouver, British Columbia and Victoria, Canada, as well as Seattle’s northern suburbs, the Olympic Peninsula.
